The Expedition is a versatile, stable & comfortable touring kayak that is designed for adventures great and small. Its quality construction and thoughtful outfitting ensure that this is a kayak that you will enjoy paddling for years to come.
The Expedition will take you to new and exciting destinations, with the storage capacity for several days worth of gear, this kayak is great for weekend getaways, short expeditions or picnics on a remote beach. The hull is designed with enough length to track well and move through the water with efficiency, but also enough width and forgiving chines to allow paddlers of all skill levels to feel completely at home in it. The Expedition has similar features to the Otium with dry hatch and suspended backrest but it is shorter by 62cm. It’s similar length to our Dreamer (being 4.45m) but a bit deeper and wider. The adjustable footrest system will suit short and tall paddlers and allows you to rest your feet and use the rudder independently with the ball of your foot/toes. The rudder is raised and lowered by two deck lines accessible to the right of the cockpit. The Kayak comes fitted with comfortable front and back handles, deck rigging, padded seat and suspended backrest, 2 waterproof hatches, 1 waterproof twist lock hatch, 1 quality paddle and spray deck.
